JTA Law was built on the foundation of a dedicated and talented team led by James Tuite and Joanne Scott. Before the firm’s inception in October 2000, both James and Joanne were valuable members of an insurance team at a respected mid-tier national firm.

Since its formation, JTA Law has grown steadily and organically. Brendan Churcher and Erin Eagles joined early in their careers, helping shape a cohesive team that has worked closely on a diverse range of matters, including complex claims for multinational insurers. Together, the team has fostered a collaborative environment that focuses on providing the highest level of service to our clients.

As we move forward, JTA Law remains steadfast in its core values: building enduring relationships founded on mutual respect, shared goals, and a forward-thinking approach. We continue to prioritise trusted relationships with our clients —values that are deeply ingrained in the DNA of our firm.

Although James Tuite has stepped away from providing legal services at JTA Law, he remains an important part of the JTA Law family.
